First, good foods to eat on an empty stomach are carrot, potato, egg, and cabbage. Carrot is good to refill vitality because it has a lot of vitamins, carotene, and roughage. Also, the search for potatoes protects the stomach like coating, and it gives us the power so that we can do some activities. Egg helps us to decrease calories which we eat during the day, and it is helpful to produce energy. Moreover, as an egg has lots of nutrients, we can raise the weight loss effect when we eat an egg on an empty stomach. Lastly, cabbage is helpful to strengthen the gastrointestinal mucous membrane, so it is good for patients with gastritis, stomach ulcers, enteritis, and colorectal disease.
There are also bad foods to eat on an empty stomach. The foods which are not good to eat on an empty stomach are banana, milk, and sweet potato. First, a banana has lots of magnesium, so if we eat a banana that has a lot of magnesium, our magnesium level will increase rapidly. Then, it can strain the cardiovascular system because of the unbalance of potassium. Also, milk has various proteins, so it makes our stomach irritated with stomach acid that protein made. Finally, sweet potato which people love as a diet food is not good on our empty stomach. Its ingredients like tannin and collagen stimulate the stomach wall, and it can bring up brash using stomach acid.
