There are many animals in different forms, such as livestock or a companion, and they became indispensable to the people. The animals and animal diseases are related to people's lives as well as with the environment, so we have to know various animal diseases to protect the animals around us.

First of all, domestic animal diseases are very varied and important to know because domestic animals are the source of the food supply. For example, there is a foot-and-mouth disease that occurs to Artiodactyla, such as cows, swine, and goats. It makes livestock suffer because it causes blisters on lips and tongues, increases in body temperature, and loss of appetite. It is very contagious that they can be infected by contact with infected animals' secretion, airborne infection, and livestock products. There is no special treatment, so it can be prevented by using prevention methods like tissue culture vaccines.

Second, companion animal diseases have to be paid special attention because companion animals are our family. There are many various diseases, such as skin diseases, cold, and eye diseases. When companion animals have a skin disease, they feel itchy. Skin disease occurs usually during the change of seasons, so special attention is needed. Also, the animals have a cough and yellow runny nose, you have to take them to a veterinary clinic. Moreover, you must take notice of eye diseases like xeropthalmia. It can be connected to the loss of sight in severe cases. If you want to prevent them beforehand, proper outside activities and suitable indoor care are necessary.

Animals have become indispensable in many ways in our lives, and they affect us a lot, whether as food or as partners. Therefore, we should try to know and cope with the animal disease in order to protect them as part of our lives.
