Hyundai Official said that the new Ioniq Electric has a larger rear seat and driving stability than the one before. It would also be the best daily car that has longer mileage per charge and high economical efficiency.
Hyundai showed the new Ioniq Electric initially in EV Trend Korea 2019 in Seoul Samsungdong COEX on May 2nd and started to sell it in earnest. the new Ioniq Electric improved the shortage of the last one with its longer mileage per charge, more IT and safety specification, and better ameliorate design.
The mileage per charge of the new Ioniq Electric is 271 km and has improved 35.5 percent more than before. The new Ioniq Electric uses 38.3 kWh Li-ion battery and applies 100 kWh motor which is ten percent more output than the last one, 10.25-inch navigation which supports wireless navigation automatic update and OTA (Over The Air) in all trim. It also supports fundamentally FCA (Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist), FCW (Forward Collision Warning) , LKA (Lane Keeping Assist), and LDW (Lane Departure Warning) . The interior emphasized the high-tech image through the triple mode virtual cluster and conditioning button of touch type. The exterior was changed into a future-oriented design through the radiator grill of flowing type and lamp signature which is connected from the LED head lamp to DRL (Daily Running Lamp). The LED, DRL, and the wheel air cotton emphasized the dynamic design and completed the new Ioniq Electric's identity. The price of the new Ioniq Electric is 41 million won, and 44 million won each for N trim and Q trim after applying the tax incentive.
Through the release of the new Ioniq Electric in EV Trend Korea 2019 in Seoul on May 2nd, Hyundai started to sell the new Ioniq Electric of which mileage, IT, navigation, motor, battery, and safety specification are improved.
