The participants of the Seoul motor show stood up to look the new sonata line-up. Yee-kung Kook, Hyundai South Korea's selling president, said that they came up with the customer's encouragement and gave various options that they would bring on the new Sonata line-up. He also thanked the people for giving plenty of love and interest to the new Sonata line-up which is going to be released in June.

Hyundai brought on "the new Sonata hybrid" and "the new sonata 1.6 turbo" at "2019 Seoul Motor Show" on March 28, 2019. The new Sonata hybrid used a solar panel to improve fuel efficiency over 20 km/L. That is why the new Sonata hybrid can reduce more CO2 than the old one. It also helps the new Sonata hybrid get competitiveness in an eco-friendly car market. The new Sonata hybrid is going to be released in June officially.

Hyundai planned that visitors could experience Hyundai products through many contents under "Play Hyundai" concept. There were three themes which were "the new Sonata","high-performance N feeling fun of driving" and "the ultimate eco-friendly car, Nexo." In "the new sonata" booth, the new Sonata turbo and hybrid was exhibited. The exterior design of the new Sonata hybrid had a sporty design and added a future sense to perform the blue-drive image of Hyundai model. The 16,17-inch wheel which only hybrid model can use was applied to get aerodynamic performance. Especially, Hyundai used"solar roof", which is a power generation system charging the battery through a solar panel on the roof of the car so that Hyundai makes a goal to achieve over 20 km/L fuel efficiency which is more improved than the old one. The electricity from solar panel can let you drive 1300 km in a year.

To sum up, the new Sonata hybrid with "solar roof" increased fuel efficiency so that it has economic efficiency and convenience. Also, the new Sonata hybrid is going to be released in June officially.
