On November 15th to 18th, Korea's biggest game convention, G-Star, was held. In this event with 689 booths from 36 countries, the largest number ever was recorded. Also, participation of domestic and international game companies of all sizes is another feature. This event was held on Bexco exhibition center on Busan.
On this event, there were many well-known game companies like Nexon, NCSofts, Netmarble, etc. Nexon, which released new games during G-Star, showed 11 mobile games and 3 PC games. Also, the famous PC games were rendered into these mobile games such as 'Kingdom of the Winds', 'Crazy Arcade', 'TalesWeaver', and 'Mabinogi'. And, the next biggest mobile game company, Netmarble, released 'Blade & Soul Revolution' which is a mobile version of NCSoft's famous PC game 'Blade & Soul', and also planned to release 'Seven Knights ll', 'The King of Fighters: All-Star', and 'A3: Still Alive'. Blue Hole, the company which made PUBG, released 30 games which were developed in past to make visitors enjoy. XD Global, a Chinese game company that was popular in Korea for its 'girl's front line' publisher, also participated in G-Star as a solo booth. In G-Star, they held quiz show about their game and held costume play show. Kakao Games, which is a publisher of PUBG, operated a mass battle arena for visitors. Nvidia also participated in this event and gave participants the opportunity to experience gaming with new GeForce RTX gaming graphics. Also, visitors can try out Smilegate's 'Lost Ark.'
On this event, over 650 game companies from about 30 countries came and held about 3000 booths on those days. G-Stars were held from Thursday to Sunday at the Busan Bexco exhibition center.
