Today, in Europe, Brexit has been an issue. Britain held a plebiscite about whether Britain would stay in the European Union or not. In that vote, 51.9% of British people voted to leave Brexit, so Britain officially announcing Brexit. Brexit emerged since there was a financial crisis in the European Union. Britain doesn't use the Euro as currency, but because it's in the European Union, Britain had to give financial support to the Eurozone, the countries which use the Euro as their currency. Prime Minister, David Cameron made some treaties that said the European Union would give special treatment to Britain and asked British people not to vote to leave the European Union. After the plebiscite, she said that she would accept their decision and resigned. Now, England has problems negotiating with the European Union. The biggest problem is the borderline between Ireland and Northern Ireland. If the negotiation isn't finished by the due date and England leaves the EU without any negotiation, it will be the worst scenario for both the EU and England. However, although the due date continues to approach, England and the EU haven't made a deal yet.

As the possibility of England exiting the EU without any deal becomes more likely, many economists are predicting what will happen to England's economy. Many of them say, "England will experience a very big crisis after it exits the EU." In England, some people are starting to buy food to prepare for a No-deal Brexit. A No-deal Brexit means that England would leave the EU without any deal. Then, England will have difficulty producing and providing things people need. The head of the Food and Drink Federation of England, Ian Wright said, "Still our food stockpile is enough, but if more people come to buy food because of the delay in negotiations, it will run out soon." England will have serious problems after a No-deal Brexit, because of international agreements. Now, England has to make 264 international agreements which the EU managed before because, after Brexit, agreements that the EU made won't apply to England, However, England has made only 6% of them. If England finishes negotiation with the EU, England will get some time form the EU where the international agreements of the EU continue to apply to England until England prepares their own agreements. However, if not, England will not get the time and be insecure in global society because of the absence of international agreements.

As the possibility of a No-deal Brexit keeps increasing, some people have started to ask for the revote of Brexit. There was a very big demonstration named 'The People's Vote'. In this demonstration, people claimed that they should vote again comparing the expected cost and complexity of Brexit in 2016 and those in the present. It's because the expected costs and complexity of Brexit increased more than they originally expected it would in 2016. Especially, there were many teenagers in the demonstration, and it seems like they demonstrated because they will be impacted the most by Brexit. Also, the mayor of London officially supports revoting. If the revote is held, the result will change. The European assembly conducted a survey of British people from last September 8th to 26th and in that survey, 53% of people voted for not leaving the EU and only 35% of people voted for Brexit again. However, an official announcement was made saying there would be no revote. Theresa May, the present British Prime Minister, announced that revoting will never be held. People's worry is increasing as Brexit approaches. But whether the negotiation is finished successfully or not, both England and the EU will go through big changes.
