Finally, the South Korea national football team made it to the final. They won against Japan in 2018 Asian Football Game finals by 2-1. As players themselves said that this achievement is really meaningful, not only South Korea succeed3ed to win the trophy successively, but also, it will be helpful for young players who have to serve in the military for two years.

The game was a diamond cut diamond. Players of both countries tried their best to lead the game, and they made every effort to focus while playing. Actually, the game was so tight that they had to play over time. However, it was South Korea that made the first strike. Lee Seung Woo, the rookie, scored the first goal in the overtime, followed by Hwang Hee Chan's great header goal.

The fact that South Korea National Football players made a great result is not the only benefit of this outcome. As mentioned before, since the team was only available for players under 23, most of the players are now exempted of their military service, which can depress their career by not letting them trained for two years. As athletes always have to train themselves and sharpen their sensibility, being a member of the army for two years can end their career. Now, since they do not have to be a soldier, they can continue their life in sports and can be scouted by other big clubs. For example, Son Heung Min, who plays for Tottenham Hotspur of English Premier League, found it hard to sign up for additional years with the club, since he had an obscure future. However, now, under many people's celebrations, he returned to London to play for his team.
