Since "Iron Man" in 2008 launched the grand Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe waited for the heroes to battle with the greatest supervillain in the comic book, Thanos. He was first shown on camera in the 2011's "The Avengers" in the after-credit scenes, watching Loki failing to carry out his end of a bargain to deliver the Tesseract, one of the six Infinity Stones. Supervillain Thanos is easily one of the strongest characters in the MCU, with the character Korath directly referring to him as "the most powerful being in the universe" in the 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy." Thanos (Josh Brolin) wants to collect all the Infinity Stones to set what he believes is the perfect balance of the universe, by wiping out half of its population. It is up to the Avengers and their superhero allies to stop them in the deadliest showdown of all time.

Avengers: Infinity War kicks off the end of Thor: Ragnarok, when Thanos and his subordinates called "Black Order: , Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, and Cull Obsidian (Black Dwarf in Marvel comics) faced with Thor, Loki, Hulk, and refugees from Asgard. A lot of heroes from the Avengers team including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Doctor Strange gathered to fight with Thanos. Action scenes are a grand spectacle and evenly paced between calmer scenes, and the plot point about the Infinity Stones is sufficiently explained. For example, in the movie, the trace of Soul Stone emerged.

Maybe, Avengers: Infinity War is certainly the gloomiest and darkest of the entire Marvel movies. However, there is another Avengers film next year that will continue the storyline, and the problems are likely to be resolved there because the solo movie, "Doctor Strange 2", Spider-Man 2", and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3" will be released.

On the other hand, Disney Korea is taking criticism that hiring the translator, "Park Ji-hoon, who is well-known for translated Marvel movies. He is taking criticism because of the movie's Korean subtitle featured several major mistakes like "Mother fucker." to "Mother..." and "It's end game." to "It was hopeless" and many more.
