One of the materials of many dramas these days is the profiler. Then, what is a profiler? A profiler is a person who records and analyzes someone's psychological and behavioral characteristics, so as to assess or predict their capabilities or to assist in identifying categories of people.

First, how to become a profiler? After graduating from high school, and admission to department of psychology, you should prepare for the master's degree in criminal psychology. Finally, pass the test of being a profiler. Second, what should you have? You ought to have strong intuition and analytical skills, experience conducting investigations, and research. Also, emotional detachment and understanding of criminal minds and psychology are needed to become a profiler. Third, there is a role of being a profiler. Profiler's roles are personality assessments, the cause of death analysis, strategic interview, and crime linkage analyses. 

In the interview, which is conducted by Hwan-Bong Jung reporter with Il-Yong Kwon who is No.1 profiler in South Korea, he said that the scientific investigation is a human rights investigation. It is not a fast catcher to be good at investigating. It is to make sure that there are no unjust people. How many people were unfair in the past? As scientific investigations proceed, catching offenders as criminals have been greatly reduced. However, it should be more stringent.
