The Pyeongchang 2018 Torch Relay started on 2017 November 11th in Incheon. The torch relay will end on 2018 February 9th. It happens in 17 cities and provinces in South Korea. The torchbearers are people who opened a new prospect in each branch.

A torch relay is a big event and the most important symbol of the Olympics. This event gives inspiration to the world and makes everyone happy. So, it is a very touching event to the world. It can introduce Korea's culture, and it is an inheritance of the Olympics. The slogan of this torch relay is 'Let Everyone Shine'. The distance of the torch relay is 2018 kilometers, and 7500 people participate in this event. The number 7500 means the peace of the world.

This event is a very meaningful and important event, so many famous people have participated in the torch relay. On 2017 December 29th to 31, the torch relay will happen in Daegu. Former baseball player Lee Seung-Yeop and Samsung Lions baseball player Koo Ja-Wook as well as 2006 Torino winter Olympics medalist Jin Sun-yu will be the torchbearers.

On December 11th in Daejeon, there was an interesting sight. Two robots named Hubo and FX-2 participated in the torch relay. Hubo drove the car and received the torch. Then, he removed the obstacle and conveyed the torch. FX-2 is specially developed for the Pyeongchang Olympics. These robots' torch relay was the first in the Olympics torch relay, so many people thought it was unique.
