Super Junior member, Choi Si Won has a dog and he loves this dog. But suddenly there is a very sad and surprising story involving them. Choi Si Won's dog bit a person on September 30th and the person concerned died on October 6th because of pseudomonas aeruginosus poisoning. Who was the person? He was a representative of the famous Han restaurant. On September 30th, Choi Si Won's family rode and elevator and as soon as it opened, Si Won's dog bit Han Il Gwan. He went to hospital, but he died four days later due to sepsis.

Then, why is he to blame? First, he is the owner of his dog. Second, though his dog had a rough disposition, he did not leash his dog. Witnesses testified that his dog ran like mad and bit the man. Also, even Si Won's management at SM Entertainment knew the roughness of his dog. Third, Choi Si Won uploaded his dog pictures on his Instagram. At that time he was not wearing a leash. Last, when the victim was injured, Si Won uploaded a photo of his dog, celebrating its birthday. So Choi Si Won isn't participating in Super Junior comeback activities because of this incident.

At this point, the bereaved family said they had forgiven Si Won, his family and the dog. They would not accept any accusations or compensation. Then, many people talked about euthanasia of a dog. But a family member said in an interview, 'Euthanasia is a matter of killing the family members, I don't want to argue about killing lives.' Currently there is no provision for dog euthanasia in Korea that hurt people who have been hurt. The dog has been sent to the provinces. Choi Si Won's entertainment company said 'It will host the Super Junior World Tour - Super Tour 7' at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on December 16 and 17. We are coordinating whether he will attend or not.'

People have argued about what should happen because of this unfortunate incident. While killing a family pet would be unfortunate, there has been a human life lost. So whatever can be done to prevent this from happening again should be done.
