There are some changes of coach in South Korean soccer. Gangwon FC promoted their chief scout to head coach to prepare for the next season. Also, South Korea football governing body will promote two veteran Spanish coaches to prepare for the next 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Gangwon FC hired a new head coach, Song Kyung-Sub, to prepare for the next season. He was hired last month to Gangwon FC, and he will fill around two-month vacancy left by Choi Yun-Kyum. In the national South Korean team, the South Korea football governing body said that they promoted two veteran Spanish coaches, Jose Antonio Grande Cereij and Javier Minano. to prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Two coaches arrived in South Korea last Friday, and they will be assistants to the national team head coach, Shin Tae-yong.

To introduce the new head coach, Song Kyung-Sub, he is 46 years old, and he worked in a youth football. Representatively, Song Heung Min and Lee Chung Yong were his pupils. He played for Busan Daewoo Loyal and Suwon Samsung Bluewings in the 1990s, and he briefly coached Jeonam Dragons last season. Gangwon FC said that he studies hard and works with strong passion, so he would be a great help. Also, he said that he would deliver new hope with his experiences and show strength in the mid field with quick passing plays. In Korean national soccer team, new coaches will help Korean national soccer team. Grande, 70, and Minano, 50, were part of Spain national football team which won 2010 World Cup and 2012 UFFA European Championship. They mainly worked with renowned Spanish tactician Vicente Del Bosque throughout their coaching career. They have a number of careers and experiences in addition to these.

Recently, South Korean soccer is weak except last game against Colombia. Gangwon FC is also poor in K-League. These scouts of new coaches will help them. South Korean people hope that it will bring good results. All eyes are now on whether these scouts of new coaches will help South Korean teams to obtain good results or not.
