When the Olympic torch came, and the relay runner changed, people shouted loudly.

The next runner was the speed skater, Lee Sang-hwa.

After running, she said, "As an Olympic athlete, I have long dreamed of running in the torch relay."

Today, she realized that dream.

The Olympic torch arrived at Incheon International Airport earlier Wednesday, having been lit and handed over to PyeongChang in Greece, and the torch relay got underway on Incheon Bridge, near the airport.

The young figure skater was honored to be the first torchbearer for PyeongChang 2018, and the torch relay started from Incheon.

It would be passed from Jeju and would be brought to PyeongChang. The sixtieth runner was Lee Sang Hwa, the speed skater. She always wants to be an Olympic torch relay runner.

In an interview, she said, "I've long dreamed of running in the torch relay."

She realized her dream in the Olympics. She added, "It's a huge honor, and to do it for the country makes it extra special."

Lee Sang Hwa is a speed skater and she is the world record holder in the 500m run with a time of 36.36 seconds. She is trying to only become the second skater, after Bonnie Blair of the United States, won three consecutive Olympics titles in the women's 500m run category, and she was the first to pull of the trifecta eight years apart.

Blair won her second and third gold medal at Albertville 1992 and Lillehammer 1994.

After running, Lee Sang Hwa took a picture with many people, and she said, "I am very nervous about the Olympics in PyeongChang, but I believe it will be fun. I believe it is going to be fun to compete in the Olympics at home. I want to win the gold medal in the Olympics which is held in South Korea, my home. But, first, I would like to post good results in the upcoming World Cup season and try to improve my form over the course of the season. I will do my best." Also, she added, "I hope that you have to give the athletes a lot of support and encouragement since we have prepared so hard."
