Lee Jae-yong, the vice-chairman of Samsung, was mixed with Choi Soon-sil and Chung Yoo-ra, her daughter. He was captured by the police by giving bribe. The key that certain that Lee Jae-yong gave bribe was that Chung Yoo-ra said that her mother told her that Samsung's horses were all hers. Thanks to the testimony of Chung Yoo-ra, Lee Jae-yong was judged by staying in jail for five years. There are many effects of his imprisonment.

The professionals say that this case can shortly give a blow to Samsung's image and to South Korea's economy. Moreover, because the trial of Lee Jae-yong has been beamed to China, it can be a bad image to China. And the purchase rate can be lower than other times because of the bad image.

 However, because of the trail, people know about the clarity of Samsung. It was beamed to China on live, so all of the citizens of China could see the judgement. Likewise, they could see that South Korea is an honest country, and they might have a good opinion on South Korea.

 Because of Lee Jae-yong's trial, we can show the clarity of Samsung and the honest way that we judge people all over the world, but there can be a crisis on South Korea's economy and Samsung's image. That can contribute less profits of Samsung. These are positive and negative effects of Lee Jaeyong's judgement. However all of these can be canceled because he can give money and get out like the way of Samsung's chairman used to get out of jail with money.
