On July 9, 2017, two people, including Mr.Shin, were dead, and sixteen people have hurt in pileup Seoul-Busan highway. There were people who brought to the hospital by 119. Six passenger cars and a bus were included in the crash on this highway. The bus driver said that he blacked out at that time because of his walk.
Police is investigating the bus driver and the president of the bus company and searching by force the bus company. Seocho Police Station is working on the case, and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is investigating whether the bus company has a mistake or not. Seocho Police Station requested analysis of the bus to National Institute for Scientific Investigation in order to identify the flaw of the bus, and the police are investigating the cause of the accident.


The bus driver made a statement that he was driving the bus about 19 hours the day before the accident, and he went to the office at 7 a.m on that day.
On July 9, police confiscated Osan Bus Company and secured working documents, vehicle logs, other things and ascertained whether Automobile Management Act was followed or not.
On July 26, police investigated the president of Osan Bus Company. He is under the charge of violation Passenger Transport Service and blackmailing. He is suspected that he did not let his employees rest for eight hours or more after driving their bus, and he made them repair buses by dealing with their own money in order to detect increasing insurance.
Police are examining thoroughly by drawing up a plan to request an arrest warrant if it is proved to cause him to drive while drowsy as the president of Osan Bus Company did not give leisure time after their driving.
