There is a place which is famous for one of the world's top destinations for relaxation. In 2016, Boracay headed the magazine's list of top ten destinations to watch. Boracay is located in Panay mainland within the Philippines. Indeed, the word "Boracay" is said to have derived from the local word, "borac" which means white cotton. Boracay's two primary tourism beaches called "The White Beach" and "The Bulabog Beach" are located in the opposite side of the island's central side. There are several other beaches in Boracay.
Especially, the white beach in Boracay is known for the picturesque beach, and there are diverse underwater leisure activities. Some of them are snorkeling and scuba diving. While snorkeling, the underwater is filled with fishes you could see at the movie"Finding Nemo". Orange, red, and yellow fishes would swim around you. Also, you can enjoy parasailing and windsurfing while seeing at a beautiful scenery of Boracay.
It is not that Boracay has only advantages. Boracay drew 1,725,483 tourists in 2016, a 10.6 percent increases from a year earlier. However, the island's popularity would affect environmental problems because of the tourists who generate the waste. Therefore, though every club for tourists is opened at night, the local police enforces the ban of littering and other alcohol-related misdemeanors. The motor-tricycles are the primary transportation of Boracay. Now, Boracay is served by two airports which is called Kalibo International Airport and Godofredo P.Ramos Airport.
Especially, Boracay has two reasons, Amihan and Habagat seasons. Amihan means cool and windy which is moderate temperature. This season is in February of March. Otherwise, Habagat indicates humid and hot weather and frequent heavy rainfall. Because of weather changes, the Amihan season is full of tourists. When you visit Boracay, Amihan season would make your travel better.
