Originally, there were lots of school events in each school. School event was one of the enjoyable things which made students want to go to school, and it attracted a lot of students. However, due to COVID-19, all school festivals were canceled last year. Events such as sports day, field trip, concert, and others were canceled, and students were disappointed. However, this year, Janggeom Middle School is pushing for several school events for students. The first of them is the school attendance event.

The school attendance events were hosted by the student council. The motto of this is "Let's go to school and get presents". In this event, when students went to school, they chose a numbered paper, and those who got any of the following numbers is 1, 13, 22, 25, 43, 52, 62, 73, 83, 111, 178, 222, 287, 303, 331, 333, received presents like a package of snacks. The winner should also be the student who followed the school rules well and wore a straight school uniform. The winners claimed their presents in the audiovisual room at school lunchtime. It was the first event since the COVID-19 era, and it was successful to attract the students' interest.

The student who was chosen at this event said that she felt great to receive a present, and she did not imagine herself being chosen. Then, she said that she is looking forward to the upcoming events. Also, some students of the student council said that they will work hard to hold various events, and they hope students will enjoy going to school with the events. They said that they are also pushing for a variety of events such as teacher's day events and reading events, so students should look forward to these events.

Because of COVID-19, there are lots of limitations to hold any school events. However, there is still a chance to have fun by doing such simple events like the school attendance event in Janggeom Middle School.
