Have you ever thought that we could talk with foreigners using Korean? If it is realized, for Koreans, it will be proud of their language. Nowadays, a lot of foreigners start to learn Korean because of the Korean waves, such as K-pop and K-drama. Also, a lot of universities around the world start to teach Korean with the book, "Learn! Korean with BTS."
In the survey of KDNews, about 70 percent of foreigners

who start to learn Korean around the world are learning because of K-pop and K-drama. Among those, BTS's influence was really big last year. To explain about BTS, BTS is the abbreviation of Bangtansonyeondan, and this is a K-pop boy group that is the most famous group in South Korea. That is why the book "Learn! Korean with BTS" is launched. This book is made by HUFs professor Heo Yong, and Big Hit Education. Moreover, it is the first Korean e-lecture series using Korean entertainer textbooks.

For these facts, a lot of universities around the world formally start to teach Korean using the book, "Learn! Korean with BTS." In the research of Sheffield University in the U.K., about 30 students started to learn Korean with the book. Not the only U.K., but also around U.S.A., France, Egypt, Vietnam, and more countries learn Korean using the book.

Today's current in learning Korean is increasing because of

the Korean wave. Above all, the effect of BTS was so powerful last year. Therefore, lots of universities around the world started teaching Korean using that book. In the future, the influence of K-entertainment in South Korea will be more powerful. Then, more foreigners will start to learn Korean and want to know more about South Korea. Thus, we should develop South Korea.
