Galaxy S8 with the new banking system. Nowadays, Samsung's new flagship, S8, has become a news topic since it was hacked. Samsung updated a new phone which became a big hit when it was first released. It contains a new way of verifying, the iris scanning verification system. It verifies our eyes and our face. The iris scanner was hacked by CCC or Chaos Computer Club. It was a global issue because the new verification system has been hacked, and a lot of people are using the Samsung Galaxy S8. Now, Samsung has launched a new system containing Bixby with banking services.

There is a lot of controversies about how safe this new banking security system is Samsung Electronics reached an agreement with three local banks, Woori Bank. KEB Hana Bank, and Shinhan Bank. With the new system, users can ask the artificial intelligence program, Bixby, to display bank accounts or financial transactions through voice. Users with a Woori Bank account can also make currency exchanges via Bixby. All three partner banks provide transaction and account balance checking services. If this payment system gets hacked like the hacking done with the iris scanner it will be a big issue even bigger than the iris scanner hack because the payment system is connected with the three banks and will be able to have a control of the bank services.

According to Aju Daily News S8 users can order the AI voice assistant with simple commands like asking for one's balance. By launching the new system Samsung with their Samsung pay which was launched at 2015 shoved their domestic rival LG with the LG pay, by using an iris scanner and a voice command for securitySamsung's AI Bixby logo

Now, Samsung has the upper hand in South Korea's mobile industry. The company's tech giant stated that through Bixby Galaxy S8 users can gain access to banking services without using their fingers but just their voice. However, there is also a big hurdle for Samsung. The problem is that Bixby cannot understand the global language, English. The Wall Street Journal said that Bixby's English version will not likely be out until late June. Also the service was struggling to comprehend English syntax and grammar according to one of the company's internal sources.

With the iris system hacking problem, the new banking service system served with Bixby, will continue to have a lot of controversies as time goes by.
