Nowadays, K-pop is becoming more and more famous, and South Korea's idol groups such as BTS, and Blackpink are picked as influential Asians in South Korea. Among them, Blackpink has numerous world records and has a huge impact on South Korea. Actually, a nonprofit organization, Golden House, selected 100 influential Asians, and Blackpink was included in that.

Blackpink is a four-member girl group. The name, Blackpink, means "pretty isn't everything," and Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa are the members of it. They have so many fans called Blink around the world. They are incredibly famous because of their outstanding abilities, elegant appearance, and unique personalities. They have a lot of skills, so they have a lot of records. According to YouTube records, their music video, DDU-DU DDU-DU, hits 1.5 billion views, which is the first time for a K-pop group to do. Also, the music video of Jennie's "Solo" surpassed 500 million views, which is the first time for a solo artist to do. The most surprising thing is that majority of their subscribers are in South Korea. They achieved 500 million YouTube subscribers which no other groups achieved.

Besides YouTube records, Blackpink has other various records. They are the first girl group to reach Billboard. They are the world's first group to perform on four continents and earn more than $1 million. Also, they are the first girl group to appear on the American live talk show, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." One of their most remarkable world records is that they are the first girl group to appear on the Coachella stage. As mentioned earlier, Blackpink has a lot of records, and they have a big influence in South Korea. Blackpink's fans, Blink, are all over the world, and when they hold a concert, a huge number of fans gather, and tickets are sold out in a short time.
