In 2017 at the Detroit Motor Show, KIA unveiled a new car named ‘Stinger’. This car is the first and fastest Korean sports saloon car. It produces 370ps horse power and it can accelerate from 0-100km/hr in 4.9 seconds.

Somebody called this car a poor man's Panamera. It looks pretty good.

This is a Fastback style luxury rear-wheel drive sports saloon. The fastback style is no staircase between the roof and the rear, and this name comes in the form of smooth, giving a quick sense of backward view. It has V6 3.3L engine (The biggest one).

In addition, this is the first rear-wheel drive sports saloon which has been made in Korea. Prior to the announcement of this car, there was the idea that this car will be called the 'K8'. However, the car name was announced as 'Stinger', contrary to expectation.

This emblem fits well with another concept of Exculsive,Excquisite,Evolutionary.

This car has its own unique emblem. This emblem was made with the concept of Engineered by Excellence. Some people have commented this car looks similar to an AUDI A7. But this car took 3 years for development. So, it’s not certainly.

This car has been released on the 23rd of May this year. This car is produced in Soha factory, Gwangmyeung city in , Gyeunggido, Korea. The Stinger's competitors are the BMW 3 serise, Mersedes Benz C class and AUDI A4. “The new Kia Stinger is a true gran turismo, a car for spirited long-distance driving,” explains Gregory Guillaume, Kia Motors Europe’s Chief Designer. This car is made for someone who loves speed. But, you can take your family with this car.

This car will be an important first step for Korea in the sports car market. It's price starts at 35 milion won (35,000,000,000 dollars). The most expensive one is about 51 milion won (51,000,000,000 dollars).
