All over the world, people are looking forward to December 25 because of Christmas. Also, they exchange their Christmas gifts on that day. Some people donate something t poor people. Moreover, when Christmas, people stopped the war. Like this, Christmas represents the day of peace. Then, when Christmas began and what is the origin of Christmas? Moreover, what is the type of Christmas culture in South Korea?

Many people believe that Christmas is from the day of the nativity. Also, they think that day is December 25. However, it is just a myth. Nobody knows when is the nativity. There is no positive proof that the date of the nativity. A long time ago, Christmas was the day to appreciate agriculture. In Rome, many people enjoyed the day and shared their food. Moreover, this culture was spread to other countries. This culture was combined with Christianity. Because of this, today's Christmas was formed. Today's Santa Claus was formed from one company.

In South Korea, Christmas was told in the early 20th century. Also, on Christmas, Korean people raise money for charity and sing a carol like other countries. The Korean National Tuberculosis Association raises money for tuberculosis on Christmas. People call it Christmas Seal. Christmas Seal was started in Denmark. Einar Holboell, post office clerk, saw a Christmas card and thought of the children who were suffering from tuberculosis. Moreover, he started to raise money by Christmas stamp. As Christmas is spread in South Korea, Sherwood Hall, a medical missionary, started it in 1931. Lastly, this culture is passed down until now. And this year, there is a Peng-Su in the Christmas seal.
