On October 16, started in Incheon, some people had died after they got a flu shot. On average, they died within two days after vaccination. The age group of the deceased are in their 70's and 80's. However, in Incheon, a seventeen-year-old boy died.

According to KDCA (Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency), a seventeen-year-old boy died after two days of getting a Flu vaccination in Incheon. Jeong Eun-Kyeong, Director of KDCA, said that we should investigate the real cause of the accident. According to the first investigation, there was no relationship between the death and the flu vaccine they have. The vaccine that the seventeen-year-old boy got was circulated by Shinsung Pharm Co..Ltd. which was caught up in a controversy because of a suspicion that the vaccine was exposed a room temperature. However, they debuted that all problematic vaccines had been retrieved, and there is no relationship between the flu vaccination and the death of the seventeen-year-old boy.

Last year, people under 65 years old who died within the week of flu vaccination was recorded. In fact, it was not related to the vaccination, but many of them could be seen as they died because of the flu vaccination. Jeong Eun-Kyeong said, that regardless of the casualty of the flu vaccination, there is such a situation in which there are statistics on the relationship of vaccination and death. It can be seen that the number of deaths is not related to vaccination. Professor Seo Min said that there is no evidence that the vaccination had accelerated the number of deaths, and that these would be a product of coincidence. He also said that this vaccination disbelief is caused by the disbelief of an incompetent government.

Even in this situation, the government announced that they have been pushing for a free state flu shot scheme to inoculate around 19 million people. No one knows the consequences of their choices. It is either it could prevent the flu pandemic, or it could cause a lot of severe side effects like death.
