When we watch Netflix or YouTube, it recommends movies, dramas, and videos that are based on the data of the recent video we watched. This kind of recommendation system is one of the A.I. that we can easily see in our daily life. Then, what does A.I. exactly means? Artificial Intelligence or A.I. means the technology that actualizes learning, reasoning, and perception ability of humans. A.I. is considered one of the future technologies that will influence our life. So, the government is giving an effort to develop this technology. Next month, an expo related to A.I will be held in Busan.

The name of the expo is A.I. Korea 2020. It is the biggest Artificial Intelligence exhibition in Korea. The sponsor of A.I. Korea 2020 is Busan City, and it will also be held in Busan. It will be held from 17 to 19 of September. There will be exhibitions related to blockchain, smart city, smart medical treatment, finance, data, VR/AR, and many more. Companies can apply for the council about inviting investments and technology conference to promote their technologies. This event is mainly for business, but there are also things that individuals and families can enjoy. For instance, they can participate in lectures about ethics of A.I and main cases and have time to think of it.

One of the things that people are worried about this exhibition is COVID-19. COVID-19 is spreading all over the world, and the place where people are crowded can be fragile to the virus. So, the host institution of this event announced that they will equip thermal imaging cameras and use robots for the prevention of the epidemic. Also, they are going to disinfect all the places twice a day. To minimize the contact between spectators, the distance between booths is extended 1.5 times than planned, and the exhibition will provide remote consultations.

There are some worries because of the virus, but there are lots of benefits to holding this exhibition, A.I. Korea 2020. This exhibition can be a chance for Busan City to lay the groundwork for smart cities and also for business companies to promote their companies. Also, individuals that will participate in this exhibition can learn what is A.I and how can it be used in our life. The director of the Information Industry Promotion Agency, Lee Insuk, mentioned that this exhibition is going to have huge business effects.
