Nature has an effect on our life. In recent times, the downpour hit the Republic of Korea and caused a lot of casualties and damages. However, there are safety regulations to be safe from this kind of disaster.
The downpour brought about some natural disasters such as floods and landslides, and they resulted in massive damages. Recently, some people died or disappeared because of the rollover accident caused by a flood in Chuncheon. Several people were drowned to death, and some were killed by the landslide. Also, farmers were giving a groan because the crops were ruined by the flooding. Like these, the downpour killed many people and damaged a lot of properties.
All people must follow the safety regulations to minimize the damage and survive from a disaster. For example, if the road is filled with water when you pass, you should unfasten your seat belt and open the window. When the water rises to an exhaust pipe of a car in front of you, you should get off the car and evacuate. If the water gets inside your house, you should shut off the power supply and open the front door. It will help firefighters check that there are people inside or not. In addition, the government's announcement plays an important role. If an area is damaged seriously, the people who live there will have to be designated to a special disaster area, and the government should monitor their safety.
Some areas in the Republic of Korea were damaged by heavy rain, so all people should handle this situation by following the safety regulations. Downpour is a natural disaster, it cannot be avoided. So, we all have to cooperate with each other to overcome these difficulties.
