Do you think you will never be infected from COVID-19? The answer is really uncertain. Whenever you do not keep the guidelines to prevent COVID 19, you can be infected, or you are prone to this infection. Therefore, we have to always follow safety rules to prevent ourselves from COVID-19. COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus that began in Wuhan, China in December 2019.

COVID-19 is a fast-spreading infection. In South Korea, the number of infected is 12,373 as of June 20, 2020. Some places that have the most cases are the false religion church in Daegu and an Itaewon in Seoul specifically in Itaewon. The false religion church in Daegu is the place that has the first case of COVID-19 in South Korea, and this has led to many confirmed cases. It is because the infectee went to the church and spread the virus. Then, the virus spread in the clubs of Itaewon, too because a lot of people went to these infected places in Seoul.

The head of Animal Disease Control and Prevent said, that we are at war with the virus with no vaccine or cure. We cannot treat the infectees, so we have to be more careful to prevent the virus from infecting us. South Korea has a great preventive system like social distancing. Social distancing is keeping a distance from each other in our everyday life. There are ways of social distancing which include going to school every other week and not going to school every other week and not going to public facilities. Wearing a mask is a must, too. Like this, our preventive system is great, and we have to follow these rules for our safety.

On the other hand, the government gives us the Disaster Assistance Fund. A lot of people, especially those who are self-employed, have lots of damages caused by COVID-19. The Disaster Assistance Fund is financial assistance for people who are unable to make ends meet due to the spread of the virus. Most housewives spend the money on their children who do not go to school. So, the Disaster Assistance Fund is useful for all people.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have to wash our hands many times a day, wear masks, and avoid touching our eyes, nose, and mouth. If we have symptoms such as fever and cough, we must go to a health center and must undergo a COVID-19 test. Also, self-quarantine is necessary.
