Hyundai Motor Group and LG Chem have been participating in the EV & Battery Challenge from June 22nd to August 28th, and they applied for seven categories on their exclusive homepage. The ultimate startup's finalists will meet in November for a workshop in the Hyundai CRADLE hub located in Silicon Valley, America. It is where the automaker bases its innovation initiatives.

From June 22nd to August 28th, the contest will be held in a total of seven categories in the EV & Battery Challenge. The categories include next-generation battery materials to increase AER and safety of EV, maintenance and repair for battery efficiency and convenience, reuse and recycling technologies of second-hand batteries to lower battery price, process technologies to increase battery production and management of quality, component used to operate EV, energy control and EV charging, and personalization service for EV. After passing the needed document, there will be a meeting on the internet. The startup's finalists will have a meeting in Hyundai CRADLE.
