In South Korea, there are many jobs. One of them is being a teacher. Many people like to be a teacher. Also, the teacher does many things. Many students like teachers. Moreover, many people respect teachers.

First of all, teachers do many things. The teacher's main responsibility is to teach students. However, teachers do other things, too. Teachers observe the attitude of their students. To add, teachers have also different jobs, especially those teaching in elementary and middle schools. In elementary school, one teacher teaches all subjects in one class. However, in middle schools, one teacher teaches one subject to all students.

A teacher was interviewed about her job and she said that she likes to be a teacher because she likes children. Also, she said that there are many kinds of students such as good students and not so good students. Nevertheless, she teaches her students very well and disciplines them in a good way.

The teacher has to be good at many things. Teachers have to be good at writing, reading, understanding, memorizing, and teaching. Also, they have to know about education, society, and history. Moreover, they should be a graduate from a university that specializes in education. Then, they should pass the licensure examination first to be a teacher.

Being a teacher is not easy. A teacher is one of the most respected jobs. Many teachers study hard and teach many students. Because of the teachers, our country is developed. It is because teachers mold students to be good and productive citizens which in result will create a well-disciplined and progressive country.
