THAAD is a hot issue from all around the world. Because, it has disadvantages and advantages for the entire Asia region. It can change South Korea too, with diplomatic problems, and national defense. Some people say, ‘THAAD is good for us because it can protect us from North Korean Nuclear missile attacks, and maintain a strong alliance with U.S.A.’   But, we don’t agree with them. In our opinion, ‘THAAD will lead to bad things.’

 First, THAAD is too expensive. Trump claims a billion dollars to Korea about THAAD expenses. We think that a billion dollars is too expensive to use his defense system.

Second, We want to explain about the ‘Korea passing’. THAAD is related with many countries like U.S.A and China, Japan etc. But U.S.A and China are sensitive about this problem. Japan wants this system in Korea because THAAD can prevent the missile from North Korea. Japan will be safe. And, U.S.A provided this system to Korea. THAAD will have good effect on America’s economy and they can govern our country with this.

Third, We want you to know about MAD. MAD means Mutually Assured Destruction. It was the ‘Cold War’ 1947 to 1991.  During this time, wars continued, and many countries tried to make more practical and deadly weapons. But, stopping the ‘Cold War’ and not making more weapons was more effective for all around the world’s economy.

Finally, THAAD was originally intended to shoot down a  high-flying missiles, and weapons such as the North's labor missiles could not defend because they did not come within range of the THAAD. Also, Korea already has a lot of weapons with the same ability as THAAD, like Killchain, but I think it is unnecessary to deploy THAAD both economically and in defense.
