Nowadays global e-sports markets celebrate their golden age with the influence of I.T. development. Moreover, game markets become very popular. In South Korea, one of the most famous global game shows called G-star was held. However, this game show had a few problems. It is because people could not find it easily, and it did not give accurate results. If these problems continue, someday, G-star will disappear.

G-star is a global game show that has been evaluated globally with four-game shows. It has been held since 2005, in Busan Exhibition and Convention Center(BEXCO) in South Korea. It has shown brilliant results and an increase in scale yearly. In 2019, G-star had 36 participating countries, about 300 booths, and 250,000 participants.

Nevertheless, the inside story of G-star is worse than the last show. First, there was a lack of facilities for the participants, and the equipment was uncomfortable. On the last day of G-star 2019, the game character costume competition was held; however, there was no fitting room in the venue. Moreover, there were only a few chairs and no smoking room, and the event hall was so noisy. Second, game companies' participation decreased. In 2019, one of the most popular Korean game companies Nexon did not participate in G-star, So, there will be many concerns if foreign companies will not participate next time for having many lapses during the previous event. Third, G-star lost its characteristic of being a game show. G-star is a game show. Nowadays, G-star was a festival that was led by popular online steamers. In fact, there were only 2,000 participants in BTB Hall among the entire 250,000 participants. However, most of all participants visited BTC hall for three days.

Also, most people went to G-star to watch famous streamers and to enjoy the event with them. The press conference held on September 4, Shin-cheol Kang, Chairman of G-star Organizing Committee answered the reporter's questions about G-star 2019. He just said it repeatedly that they agree that the G-star is important to focus on experience; however, he did not mention the concrete plan.

Aside from these problems, there were still many problems at G-star. Next year, 2020, many people hope to have a game show again just like G-star in an advanced way.
