Grammy Awards incurred their fans' anger, and they really raged about it. BTS did not only tour around American stadiums in 2019 but also won awards at many American awards, but they were not nominated by Grammy Awards. They were already awarded many times in many American awards such as Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and more. However, in Grammy Awards, they only nominated Westerners. American musicians who were nominated the most. Since they started it, they did not nominate Asian musicians at least one time.

So, many celebrities and magazines criticize them sharply. For instance, first, famous singer Halsey said in her Twitter that the US is so far behind the whole movements. She also criticized them by calling them "outdated Grammy" Second, Forbes, which is an American magazine, said that BTS deserves a prize, but the Grammy Awards are too old-fashioned. Then, there are many criticisms that existed around the world thrown at the Grammy Awards.

Many BTS fans felt a sense of betrayal from Grammy Awards. Grammy Awards have to realize how much they are outdated. Therefore, they had better select a candidate according to the times. Many American singers and artists are great and awesome, but there are many other artists in the world.
