On August 31, the drama Strangers From Hell started its first broadcast on OCN. This drama is based on a webtoon, so many people anticipated this drama. The main character is Yoon Jong Woo, who goes to Seoul for work at the company. He gets to live in an Eden dorm. There, Jong Woo meets Seo Mun Jo, Uhm Bok Soon, Hong Nam Bok, Byun Deuk Jong, and Ahn Hee Joong. He thought these people were common, but they started to do strange things. He felt that someone was watching at him, so he felt stressed.

One day, Jong Woo met a new resident of Kang Suk Yoon and his junior in the army, Kang Chang Hyun. They went to the dorm, but they were knocked out by Seo Mun Jo. When Jong Woo woke up, Suk Yoon and Kang Chan were dead. Also, his girlfriend had been kidnapped. He was so angry at the others in the dorm than he checked into the hospital.

Many people said that the end of the drama was shocking. In the end, Jong Woo killed the other people from the dorm. Seo Mun Jo set him free and told him to killed everyone, so he kills them all and Seo Mun Jo, too. There is a scene in which he kills people cruelly with axes and knives, so the last episode was rated explicit for teenagers. Nevertheless, the drama achieved a viewer rating of 4.5 stars. Also, many people were interested in the title of the last episode, Gas Lighting. Gas Lighting is the psychological phenomenon that made Jong Woo crazy.

The original story of this drama is from a webtoon, but there are some differences between the original webtoon and the drama.

Actor Lee Dong-wook, who plays Seo Moon-jo, is not a character in the original webtoon. He only appears in this drama. Also, the process of Jong-woo killing the people from the dorm is described more cruelly in the drama. Thus, the drama and the webtoon had some differences, so people say the ending was interesting. However, some people said that the drama is too bizarre, unlike the original webtoon, so the audience's rating of the drama decreased.

All that aside, Strangers From Hell created a consistently good production. Finally, the audience rating increased to 4.8 percent in the last episode. There were some harsh comments, but there is no change in the fact that Strangers From Hell attracted people's attention as a special subject.
