Do you know the story of YouTuber Jackal? Recently July 25,2019 ,the YouTuber named jackal mistreated his pet. As a result, the number of petitioners at the Blue House is now over 5000, South Korea has generated lots of problems about mistreating of animals even though the culture of living with animals has become so common in our country. What are your thoughts about it? First, we have to search about the animal welfare.

In the past, Korean didn’t see the dogs like family at first. In ancient, they believed that animals were only food for Korean. However Korean changed slightly. In now, most of people think that the dog are their part of the family. Also, the pet population steadily increases. In 2012, it was the only 900 billion of pet population, and the population increased 3650 billion of pet population in 2018. (from Research Statistics) On the other hand, we have sale the animals for online. This can lead to life contempt. Like wise, the number of abandoned dogs exceeded 100,000 in 2016.

Then, let’s talk about animal welfare in United Kingdom. United Kingdom is the only country that prioritizes the welfare of animals over the welfare of humans, and is the world’s per culture’s leader and the best pet nation recognized by itself. The united Kingdom was the first country in the world to implement law protecting animals. It has forceful laws for the pet like pet registration system. Also, they didn’t sale with animals in online. They adopt animals from Bridger.

Therefore, I think that our country should strengthen the law of pet so that pet can live better life. In detail, we have to fine the way to reduce the abandoned dogs and refine our country that is good place to live animals. In this way, I hope that the problem is solved so that everyone can be together in a dog
