Birth rate problem is recently considered a big issue in South Korea since the birth rate in South Korea is extremely low. The Korean government already enforced birth encouragement policy. However, it seems that it did not work. They believed that this problem is due to a shortage of money and juggling work and caring of the infants. However, it is also important to observe the situation of society because the main problems are certainly there.

Before explaining the social situation, finding the causes of the low birth rate is essential. One important thing to do is changing the way of delivering awareness about marriage and birth. It is because more people tend to remain single and avoid birth. Also, degeneration of social and economical conditions influences people not to marry such as employment and dwelling. These are two of the many reasons for the low birth rate problem in society.

The society of South Korea sometimes requires many things to parents, especially to women. Although the government encourages birth, lots of women know the hard moments they will face after pregnancy. In addition, they also know that taking care of an infant is hard and costly than pregnancy, so many parents decide not to have children to save money. Furthermore, there are some cases that women find it hard to go back to their workplace after giving birth. This is related to the former problem. If the income of the family decreases, there can be a fiasco to raise their child. Women are usually in charge of caring and raising the child, while men spend almost all of their time in their workplace. So, women may feel stressed about caring for their child, and parents would likely have a conflict.

Since people know that they will have problems after giving birth, people avoid giving birth, and the birth rate in South Korea gets lower and lower every year. There are many trivial things, but it is important to solve the problems between the people and the society. If those social issues lessen, South Korea will have a better image, and even other problems would be solved peacefully.
