Most K-pop fans have ever imagined being managers. However, it was just an imagination, and they could not experience it. By the way, we can be a manager of BTS, one of the most famous K-pop idols, through a new mobile game, BTS World, released by Netmarble.

On June 26, 2019, Netmarble, a South Korea's game company, launched a mobile game, BTS World. The game is a simulation game to experience to be a BTS' manager. It is released in 176 countries and has 14 languages. The time of the story of the game goes back to the year 2012 when BTS did not exist, and players of the game became employees of Bighit, which is the company of BTS. So, players have to find the members and help them to debut. During the game, there are various photos and videos. Players can make a call, text some messages, and do SNS with BTS through it. The game has another story which allows players to imagine BTS members' different jobs. For example, members can become a detective, a hotelier, a farmer, a dancer, a doctor, a pianist, and a student.

BTS World has a lot of OSTs. First of all, the title OST of the game is "Heartbeat" released on June 28, 2019. The lyrics of the music say that the members of BTS meet one another like destiny which is similar to a drama telling to grow up together. The music video of this song is the story of the universe which represents BTS and the seven boys who live in another universe. Second, there are three unit songs. The songs are "Dream Glow" which Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook sing, "A Brand New Day" which J-hope and V sing, and "All Night" by RM and Suga. Aside from these, there are seven theme songs of each member and other songs by singers who are not members of BTS.

On August 27, Yeongsik Gwon, CEO of Netmarble announced that Netmarble started to sell goods of BTS World on August 29. There are limited album package, photo card of BTS, and other things. An employee of Netmarble says that they will start to launch other goods except for these. Also, they will try to make various goods which people want.

On August 21, 2019, Bang Si-hyuk, CEO of BigHit Company, says that they are preparing for the new game project using BTS storytelling IP with Netmarble and players can meet the view of the world of BTS through it. The next game of BTS World teaser was released, and the the expectation is increasing.
