Today, because of the different views between Japan and South Korea, their relationship is getting worse than the past. However, the people around the world did not know about South Koreans' sufferings and South Korean history. So, they believed that Japan was better than South Korea. To ask the apology of Japan, South Koreans did their best to announce the fact about their history. However, most people in South Korea did not know about the date, August 14th.

People usually know about the date that the previous day of National Liberation Day. This date is the day when Koreans announced the Japanese Military Sexual Slavery. Kim Hak-sun announced what really happened during the period of Japanese colonial rule. That time, most victims were afraid of informing their sufferings from the hands of Japanese, so young South Koreans did not know what really happened in the past. The people only knew that the victims had gone to Japan to earn money. However, it is not the fact. They were deceived by the Japanese, and when they reached Japan, they were abused by the Japanese military. After August 14th, many South Korean victims announced the abuse, they questioned human rights to the international human rights organization.

In Seoul, people came to demonstrate to Japan and ask their apology to South Korean victims every Wednesday. Yet, however, the government of Japan did not acknowledge their history and ignored the fact. The organization against Japanese Military Sexual Slavery made some products with the picture of the victims drawn on them. Also, some movie directors made movies about them. Moreover, they showed the movies to the world like "August 14th". Also, some students participated in UCC.

Most people in the world did not know about our history and August 14th. To announce these facts, South Koreans are more concerned about our victims of sexual slavery and history.
