Nowadays, people in South Korea are worried about going abroad to travel. That is because they are suffering from instability and conflict with Japan which is one of the most famous travel destinations. According to some Korean citizens, they now prefer using domestic products than Japanese products. Thus, they plan for a domestic trip and find a good landscape in South Korea. At the same time, many Koreans join visiting regions of Korean history.

The National Liberation Day of Korea is one of the monumental days in South Korea. On this day, Korean people celebrate South Korea's independence from Japan. As such, it is a precious and valuable day in South Korea. Moreover, Koreans can go and join the activity, "A Tour to the Ten Places of Korean History" on this day.

If they join this tour, they will start in Gongju. It will start in Gongju Jail Church, which was the hub of the independence movement and then to baekje's breathtaking Gongsan Castle. Not only Korean people will experience a great look at the stained glass work by artist Lee Nam-kyu and a private prayer room on the semi-basement floor reminiscent of Roam-era catacombs but also other significant antiquities.

Woljeongsa Temple of Odaesan Mountain in Gangwon Province is also one of the ten places of Korean history's tours. The other places are Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung and Sokcho City Museum with "Dramatic Tours of Gangwon Province" at the same time. Koreans can see ancestors life and experience their culture.

Interestingly, Koreans can join two events on the National Liberation Day. The first event is voting for a historical destination where they wish to go. If they choose places among the places of Korean history and write some comments, they will get a gift voucher through a draw. The other event is to submit a two-day travel plan by selecting one from the recommended courses for a 10-term historical tour. This event gives meaningful gifts, too.
