Among OECD, the Paris-based organization says its 35 member countries posted 40.8 percent in the proportion of adults that have participated in variuos types of lifelong learning. On the other hand, in South Korea, it indicates below the global averages in self-directed learning, despite being famous for brick-and-mortar schooling. However, these days, thank you to developing technologies, it has been changed a lot. More and more people believe that not only studying in the classroom is good, but also going on throughout life and in diverse situation is okay.
     Most people do the lifelong learning all around the world. Do you know why? It is because the whole world is changing too fast to adjust a new one because of the developing technologies. So, people believe that lifelong learning is great for them. When people want to do lifelong learning, most of them go to the education center and community center to learn various type of programs like cultural artistic education to adjust the world.

     Lifelong learning includes cultural artistic education, citizen participation education, liberal education and some other things. Lifelong learning's advantage is increasing the fun of life. When students are tired of studying late at night, instead of studying, some other programs outside will be pleased with them. Also, when people do lifelong learning alone, through studying, they can get lots of knowledge, realization and technolonies needed to live. These technologies can help people being ready for the future when they are old enough.
     These days, around the world, lifelong learning is important. Of course, academic education is important, too, but today's people live so long, and they have to raise the technologies to live. So, lots of people strongly believe that lifelong learning is important in their life.
