Have you ever been to a youth training camp in your school life? Youth training camp is where students make friendship with other students in South Korea. Also, students can learn about cooperation with their friends. Going to a youth training camp in school can improve leadership skill and cooperative spirit between friends. The youth training camp is quite different because each school can go to different places. There is a specific number of students who can participate in this training camp. Schools who want to participate in this camp can make an application anywhere they want.
Jiyoon Kim, a first year student in middle school, said, "she had a good experience in this training camp because she met a variety of friends and had a great event time with them. In this activity, each student pays for the lodging, all of the other events, and many more. The greatest advantage is that students can have time with other students that they have never met before in their school." Jiyoon Kim also expressed that it can be a great chance to enjoy at the events in the youth training center.
To hold an event program like recreation, this middle school had to go through complex processes. The students had to rent colorful lighting for recreation, so each student paid 140,000 won to the Youth Training Center for the expenses of the event.
Despite all the positive impacts in the youth training camp, there are flaws about the Youth Training Center. The flaw is to do as you are told. Moreover, some places do not have a market for students' snacks, but the students in the school were welcoming to the decision of the Youth Training Center education committee with leadership and cooperative spirit.
