February 25th, at Barcelona, Mobile World Congress 2019 held. This year, MWC's topic was Intelligent Connectivity, 5G, AI, VR, MR and Blockchain. This year's MWC 2019 saw competition from major Smartphone manufacturers in foldable phones and 5G Smartphones ahead of commercialization of 5G mobile telecommunication. It was also a place where a variety of business models can be seen after commercialization of 5G network.

Among Mobile products by 5G, Samsung's foldable phone was the biggest issue of MWC. Samsung's foldable phone and their technology amazed many global experts. Also, SK Telecom introduced the Smart Factory solution, KT introduced the first emergency aid solution based on 5G and LG introduce dual display smartphone V50 ThinkQ that we can enjoy contents in various ways. Also, China's Huawai unveils foldable smartphone.

As we can see, most companies of the world paying attention to 5G. It is because the 5G network is able to consume not only large-capacity images but also ultra-high-capacity images such as AR (Augmented Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), and hologram through the wireless network. For example, we can play the piano in the air, play games by VR and watch movies. Most of all, 5G can be used in surgeries. Blood vessels of the brain and microscopic nerves are not invisible to the naked eye. However, with 5G, we can see them by stereoscopic image. 5G can show how to operate, and with it, doctors who are far away can still perform surgery by a smartphone. Also, content streaming services will expand by 5G.

No matter how advanced the technology is, viewers search for content with valuable stories and explore the sea of technology. Satisfaction with time consumption will be the answer. I believe it is the homework of Korea's 5G broadcasting content providers to provide unique viewing experience to viewers as content users to make South Korea powerful.
