Recently, CES (International Consumer Electronics Show) and MWC (Mobile World Congress) which are international electronics and IT expositions were held. There were a lot of products and technologies which will lead the future. Many countries participated in those expositions, but most of all, businesses of South Korea received the attention of the world by amazing IT products and technologies. Samsung, LG Electronics, HYUNDAI, KIA, KT, SK Telecom, and LG U+ unveiled plenty of products about household electronics, mobility, AI, 5G, smartphone, and AR•VR•MR.

CES was held from January 1st, 2019 to January 11th, 2019 in Las Vegas, the United States of America. Samsung, LG Electronics, HYUNDAI, KIA, and the other South Korea's businesses took part in CES. The keywords of CES were 5G, Automatic Driving, AI, 8K and so on. In the TV category, Samsung unveiled 8K TV, of which resolution is four times higher than UHD 4K. Also, Samsung unveiled 'The Wall' TV that has micro-LED technology. The most popular TV at CES was 'Signature OLED TV R’ of LG Electronics. This TV can roll and enter its long box when the TV is not used. Many people were amazed. In the mobility category, there are mobility blueprint of HYUNDAI and KIA. HYUNDAI presented 'Style Set Free' system that the owner can customize their mobility. Also, HYUNDAI revealed 'Elevate' which can move in rough places. KIA uncased 'R.E.A.D (Real-time Emotion Adaptive Driving) system' that makes the internal space of mobility adapt driver's situation. In the AI category, Samsung unveiled 'Samsung Bot', an AI robot, for the silver generation. LG Electronics proceeded the 'ThinQ' booth and showed a lot of household electronics mounted AI technology.

MWC was held from February 25, 2019, to February 28, 2019, in Barcelona, Spain. At MWC, the 'foldable smartphone' was the most popular issue. Many businesses in the world unveiled the foldable smartphone, and Samsung also unveiled 'Galaxy Fold'. In addition, Samsung revealed a new product, 'Galaxy S10'. LG Electronics did not make a 'foldable phone' but unveiled 'dual screen smartphone' and a variety of high-definition smartphones mounted 5G. Plenty of South Korea's distributors such as KT, SK Telecom, and LG U+ showed their technologies. They showed 5G technology and more improved AR, VR, and MR.

Like this, IT businesses in South Korea showed and remained their good appearances to the world in CES and MWC. They got a lot of attention from the world, and it is expected that South Korea can be the first runner in IT business in the world.
