In Bangladesh, there is a big current crisis of refugees from Myanmar flooding across Bangladesh’s border. This situation started in the 1980s, but it has devolved into the current crisis only recently. On September 6, 2017, the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) announced that nearly 150,000 refugees fled to Bangladesh across the border for the massacre by Myanmar's military.

The Rohingyans are forced to leave their homes because they are fleeing ethnic cleansing in their home country. Bangladesh is now accepting refugees and providing a provisional residence and relief supplies. However, this situation is untenable for Bangladesh in the long term. Moreover, Bangladesh is going to build 14000 provisional residence son a site near the existing refugee camp for the Rohingya people. The existing refugee camp is saturated. Bangladesh tries its best. However, as a small nation, it is not properly equipped for a humanitarian crisis of this magnitude.

One expert said that the only solution to this crisis is for the international community to put pressure on Myanmar to repatriate and insure Rohingyans' safety.

Actually, the Rohingya's resolution in Myanmar is a crackdown by Myanmar's military on ethnic Rohingya, a Muslim minority in Myanmar, which has been underway since October 6, 2016. The U.N. Office of the Supreme Representative for Human Rights (OHCHR) said that in February 2017 report that Myanmar's military committed multiple murders and mass sexual assaults against the Rohingya people, which is very close to crimes against humanity. The international community should help this crisis.
