Cheerleaders' sexual harassment in Ilbe Store took the Internet by storm. Many cheerleaders determined sexual harassment that they have been experienced.

On December 10th, the baseball team Samsung Lions cheerleader, Hwang Da-geon, uploaded a post on her Instagram. Hwang Da-geon said that cheerleading is enjoyable as an occupation, but the price of this job is lowbrow. Hwang Da-geon determined things that she has been experienced. Hwang Da-geon has been sent disgraceful messages and videos. Also, Hwang Da-geon's companions, Shim Hye-young, and Park Hyun-young raised their voices. They determined that they just do the job which is cheerleading and support their sports team not to wear revealing clothing and be ridiculed by people who do sexual harassment.

Park Gi-ryang's remark on a program resurfaced because of cheerleaders' anger. On the program, Park Gi-ryang said that when the game lost, people threw things like a tomato to her and took pictures of her bottom. Also, when Park Gi-ryang was working in the enterprise's event, she was treated like an adult entertainment establishment staff. She said that it was really insulting.

In Ilbe Store and some sites, members condemned cheerleaders. They asserted that if cheerleaders do not want to experience sexual harassment, they must wear unrevealing clothing, not revealing clothing. Also, they showed an attitude that just condemned the cheerleading job. They just shifted responsibility on cheerleaders. However, on SNS like Twitter, users criticized people in Ilbe Store. SNS users asserted that all faults are to people who sneered cheerleaders by sexual harassment.

There is even a petition asserting that an occupation, cheerleading, has to be abolished. People who go for it assert that regardless of sports game, cheerleaders are likely to be taken pictures by people anywhere and anytime. So, they contended that an occupation, cheerleading, has to be abolished. However, people in the opposite side asserted that it is not cheerleaders' faults but it is the fault of the people who sneered cheerleaders by sexual harassment. The petition is over a thousand people now.
