In a year and two months, EXO came back with the fifth original album, 'DON'T MESS UP MY TEMPO', on November second at 6 p.m. EXO's comeback has been proceeded since October 22nd, unveiling a lot of teasers of this comeback's movie, songs, and members' album photos and participating in a press interview, Twitter blue-room live, and showcase. 'Tempo' which is the title song of this new album entered as first in Melon Chart at 6 p.m. Plenty of EXO's fans expect EXO's activity in this album.

On October 2nd, the news that EXO would come back on November second was announced. On October fourth, the album's preliminary sale was started at various record sites, and the album's cover photo and the tracklist were revealed. From October 22nd to October 31st, each members' album teaser of theme songs and photos were unveiled through EXO's official account on Twitter and Instagram and EXO's official site. On November first, EXO participated in a press interview and Twitter blue room live.

'DON'T MESS UP MY TEMPO', the fifth original album of record, songs and movie was released at off-line record shops, music sites, and Youtube. This album consists of eleven songs including 'Tempo' which is a title song, 'Sign', 'Ooh La La La', 'Gravity', 'With you', '24/7', 'Damage', 'Smile On My Face', 'Oasis', and '節奏' which is Tempo's China version. Except 'Tempo' and '節奏', each of the songs is based on each of the members' supernatural powers. 'Tempo', the title song of this album, is a song with a hip-hop dance genre, standing out with a constitution of energetic baseline, rhythmic drum, and EXO's acapella. Tempo's lyrics describe a man's mind not interrupting tempo with her but loving her to melody. This album is released in three versions using tempo terms, 'Andante', 'Moderato', and 'Allegro'. Chanyeol, one of the EXO's members, took part in writing the lyrics.

On October 31st, the number of pre-order recorded over one million, and EXO became a K-pop group achieving a quintuple-million of sold albums. Starting with activity at 'Show! Music Center', EXO's new album activities will continue from November second, expecting to set new records and go to abroad all over the world.
