Have you ever heard the Ulsan Onggi festival? Ulsan Onggi festival which was awarded the Grand Prize of Korean Festival Contents from Korea Festive Contents Association this year is the festival that we can participate in many programs about Onggi. Onggi is that artists who are designated as intangible cultural assets made it. I introduce this festival to inform my country to the world.

Ulsan Onggi festival was held at Onggi village which is located in Gosan-ri, Onyang-eup, Vlju-gum, Ulsan Metropolitan city. The festival was held for 4 days which was May 4th to 7th. And this festival was held 18 times before. This festival is famous for onggi and another tourist attraction like Ganjeolgok, Jinha ocean. This place makes Uljugun more famous. Also, there are many famous foods and many festivals in Uljugun, so many visitors come to this tourist attraction to eat this food and participate in many festivals.

There are many programs at this festival. The programs are Onggi dobu longevity parade, Dirt playground, Water playground, Fire playground, Onggi craftsman demonstration hall, Onggi culture special lecture. Especially, dirt, water and fire playground was popular in this festival by children. Although when the festival was held last year was bad for children because there weren't programs that children can participate funny. But this year, as there was a playground for children, it was helpful to be a popular festival. Also, there were some performances for this festival like congratulation performance and starlight concert.

Ulsan Onggi festival earned 5.2 billion this year. It was helpful for Ulsan to grow up and there were many visitors to this festival who were 140,000 people. Also, the satisfaction was high by conducting a survey. If you are interested in Ulsan, participate in this festival next year.
