According to the Supreme Prosecutors Office's crime statics, hidden camera crime had increased over 20 percent in the past seven years. Lately, a post that said "If you leave an email address, I will send you hidden camera video gradually." was uploaded on Tumblr. The post got over five hundreds of comments and about hundreds of emails to receive spy camera videos. There were also people who said, "Please send me the video." This is not the only problem. Elementary school students are installing hidden cameras, too. They shoot their mothers while they are sleeping, changing clothes and putting underwear through their cell phone or camera, and upload it on YouTube named 'Hidden Camera of Mother'. They treat hidden camera videos just a game. Like this incidents, spy camera footage crimes are increasing. That is why Seoul City puts out plans to eradicate hidden cameras in restrooms. Their goal is to make people relax while taking the restroom. Seoul City will assign a management department of public place and conduct. They will also take action if there are disquieting traces such as flaw of restroom's door, tapped hole, and repair broken facilities.

According to a psychiatrist, a person obtains various information by casting his or her eyes on other people's behavior or appearance. However, sexual perversion(voyeurism) that feels abnormal sexual satisfaction by observing actions related to sex in this process can be regarded as a mental illness.
