Does your school have a school festival? Almost all schools have their own school festival. The festival which is held by Guyoung Middle School is always held at the end of October and is participated by the whole school. There are two sections in festival In section one, there are lots of stage performances which are prepared by the whole school. In section two, there is a talent show. This festival's specialty is that it is always held in KBS Hall which is a very large hall.
Some students are asked about their opinion about this school festival. Yoon Seo Lee, a second-grade student at Guyoung Middle School, said that she likes this school festival because they can get a prize when they win, and eat food like snacks with their friends. Sori Kim also said that she also likes it because she can see pleasant shows and stages, Young Min Lee expressed that she can take a rest in the festival and go to school happily.
Although many students like it and see it positively, there are two problems in the festival. First, it is strenuous and hard to prepare for this festival for a month. Jimin Park said that they prepare for this festival in the first grade, they feel too strenuous, especially the class president. Second, many students do not observe school roles in the festival. Teachers always tell the students not wear makeup except for those who are part of the talent show. However, many students wear makeup in the festival.
