Even though there are lots of popular idol groups, the most famous and popular group by songs and appearance is "Red Velvet".

Red Velvet has five members, Irene the leader, Wendy the main vocal, Joy the lead rapper, Yerin the subvocal and Seulgi the main dancer. They started in 2014 at SM entertainment. This group have been very popular since the day they started to lots of girls and also a boy.

Red Velvet has lots of music videos and songs such as, "Red Flavor", "Peek-A-Boo", "Russian Roulette", and the most famous song "Bad Boy". Every time they make a song, the first place in lots of music charts. Also, they have been to real-time shows and music programs.

For Red Velvet, there are lots of good issues and news about them, but there are some bad news about them, too. When they sang "Red Flavor", there was a big issue about Irene having too short skirt. The fan of Red Velvet was angry of the clothes and insulted the clothing manager of Irene. After this issue, the clothing manager did not let Irene wear a short skirt or small clothes.

Nowadays, lots of teenagers prefer K-pop ballad since there are lots of K-pop stars. There are growing and growing numbers of songs and K-pop groups. In the near future, there might be more of them.
